Built for the process behind the prestige
Why programme teams choose FAAES — configuration depth, defensible evaluation, published pricing, and a team that has run these programmes before.
Why programme teams choose FAAES
Configurable by design
Your programme defines the workflow. Forms, terminology, chapters, roles, permissions, phases, routing, scoring, communications, and outputs vary together — which is what makes the exceptions survivable.
Full-suite, not a stack
Forms, payments, multilingual journeys, judging, communications, results, galleries, reporting, and integrations are one environment, not five products with a synchronisation problem between them.
Depth without a custom build
Deep configuration usually means bespoke software and a maintenance burden that outlives the person who commissioned it. FAAES pairs configurable platform components with local implementation, so distinctive rules don’t become technical debt.
Continuity between cycles
Keep the operating model and improve it, rather than reassembling it every year from memory and last season’s spreadsheet.
Awards and elections on one platform
Professional bodies, associations, and foundations typically run both — an annual awards programme and a board or committee election — and typically buy two systems, or run the election on paper. FAAES does both on the same permission model, register, and audit trail. The major awards platforms do not offer this.
Published pricing
You can see what it costs before you speak to anyone. In this category, that’s unusual.
We understand how public bodies work
Most of our programmes are run by government and semi-government organisations, so we know what a procurement process needs from a supplier, how a decision has to be governed to survive scrutiny, and what a fixed public announcement date does to every deadline behind it. That is not a claim about software. It is why our implementations tend to land on time.
A platform we own outright
FAAES is built on our own proprietary stack. There is no third-party platform underneath it that we cannot change, no vendor whose roadmap constrains ours, and no licence that limits what we can configure for you. When a programme needs something the platform does not do yet, that is a conversation about priority — not a conversation about permission.
Candour
Where we are honest about the trade-off
Larger international competitors have longer certification lists, bigger reference rosters, and more third-party review coverage. If your procurement process requires a specific certification we don’t yet hold, tell us early and we’ll tell you straight whether we can meet it.
What we offer instead is configuration depth, transparent pricing, and a team that answers. For most programmes, that trade is a good one. For some it won’t be, and we would rather establish that in the first conversation than the fourth.
Bring us your most complicated workflow
Not the simple one. The one with the regional round, the two-stage jury, the conflict-of-interest rule, and the category that works differently from all the others.
