How FAAES collects, uses and protects personal information.

Last updated: 1 October 2026

This policy explains what personal information FAAES (“we”, “us”) collects through this website, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It covers faaes.ai only. Programmes run on the FAAES platform for our customers are covered by the agreement and privacy notice of the organisation running that programme.

What we collect

Information you give us

When you request a demo, we ask for:

  • your name, work email address, organisation and country;
  • optional details about your programme — its name, expected launch date, approximate volume of entries, number of evaluation stages, languages, whether you charge entry fees, and the systems it needs to connect with;
  • what you would most like to improve about how your programme runs today.

If you email us at hello@faaes.ai, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include in your message.

Information collected automatically

Like any website, our servers receive technical information with each request — your IP address, browser type and the page requested — and keep it in server logs used for security and troubleshooting. We do not use this information to build a profile of you.

How we use it

  • To respond to your enquiry and prepare a demonstration around your programme.
  • To follow up on that enquiry, for example to send a proposal you have asked for.
  • To keep the website secure, including filtering automated spam submissions.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Cookies and similar technologies

This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. When you dismiss the cookie notice, your browser stores a small note (in local storage) so the notice is not shown again. If you sign in to manage the website, a session cookie keeps you signed in.

Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts. To deliver them, Google receives your IP address and basic browser information. See Google’s privacy policy.

If we introduce analytics in future, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where the law requires it.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only with service providers who help us run this website and our business — such as hosting and email providers — under contracts that require them to protect it and use it only on our instructions. We may also disclose information where the law requires us to.

How long we keep it

We keep demo requests and related correspondence for as long as we need them to respond to you and manage any relationship that follows, and then delete them. Server logs are kept for a limited period for security purposes.

Security

We protect the information we hold with technical and organisational measures appropriate to its sensitivity, including encrypted connections and restricted access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and to act promptly if something goes wrong.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, data protection law — including Qatar’s Law No. 13 of 2016 on the Protection of Personal Data Privacy — gives you rights over your personal information. These include the right to:

  • ask what personal information we hold about you and receive a copy;
  • ask us to correct information that is inaccurate;
  • ask us to delete your information;
  • object to, or withdraw consent for, how we use it.

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@faaes.ai. We will respond within the time the law allows.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our website or the law changes. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.

Bring us your most complicated workflow

Not the simple one. The one with the regional round, the two-stage jury, the conflict-of-interest rule, and the category that works differently from all the others.
